The house was remodelled 10 years ago in a contemporary, modern style for vacations and family gatherings. The minimalistic lines gives it a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere while the warmth comes from the rustic details. It's placed in the countryside, in a fine quiet area at 5 kms from the city. It's a spacious house (220 m2), with an ample living-room, equipped kitchen, four bedrooms and two bathrooms, pool and fireplace. It's rented exclusively for one group at a time. Linen and towels provided. The price depends on the number of persons and bedrooms occupied. The porches and squares lines of the building reflects the moorish inspiration of the architectural project and the old wood sleepers from the train railways reused in the outside floors are the outcome of environmental concerns. Also for a better environment and swimmer's health, the pool is not treated with aggressive chemicals. Besides, the tiles are green/grey so don't expect an artificial blue water. The pool is open from May to November. It is worth saying that the house was published in several architectural magazines and was designed by João Trindade, a portuguese architect. There is a TV in the house to connect devices like a computer so you can watch a movie (ask for cables). We don't have TV cable service.
