About
The Casa Portuguesa was established in the year 2000 by Anabela Nunes who continues to run the restaurant with her family. The restaurant is small and intimate, located in one of the back streets in Funchal's Old Town, traditionally decorated with hand painted blue and white tiles, tables covered in hand made Madeiran table cloths and lit with tiny wall lights giving it warmth, character and an atmosphere of dining in a real Portuguese family home. We have a free pick-up service from hotels or apartments if required.
