Diving directly in front of the base and by boat – IT DOESN´T GET ANY BETTER! Short distances and travel time are pampering for divers. The base is centrally located with a reef rich with fish just one minute from its front door. Jump into the water and you are in the middle of Madeira’s Underwater Nature Reserve. There are four different diving spots that can easily be reached: A cave tunnel with an air blister, a steep face or the "Arena" with its big shoals of fish, for example. The diverse diving spots have a diving depth of 34m. You can also snorkel and the area is great for beginners’ courses, for guided dives for those with little experience, but also for seasoned divers that would like to discover the area with a partner. All other diving spots can be reached by boat with the boat trip taking between 5 and 20 minutes. We have a specially constructed aluminium speed boat for these trips.
