Casa d'Acha is located in the calm and peaceful rural village of Sao Miguel d'Acha. The house was recently rebuilt with traditional materials like wood, artisanal tiles and stone. The rooms at the Casa d'Acha are all equipped with an air conditioning system and a TV with a cable connection (70 channels, including international channels). All rooms have their own private bathroom and a wardrobe. The house has free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included in the room rate and served each morning. For more meal options, there are local restaurants available at the village and souring towns. This traditional rural house features two separate living rooms, one on the first floor and another on the second floor. The first floor's living room has a flat-screen, with 90 channels, and is linked to the dining-room, which has a fire place. The second living room has a bookshelf with books for guests to enjoy in the comfortable sofas. This room opens to a terrace with a view over the village and the lands around it. The surrounding area is quiet and is ideal for a relaxing hike or a stroll, bird-watching and cycling. The house is located at a one-hour drive from the Serra da Estrela. Casa d'Acha is also close to Penamacor (23-minutes' drive), the Thermal Waters of Monfortinho (43-minutes' drive), the Geopark NaturTejo (27-minutes' drive) which features lush green areas, lakes, hiking trails and a varied animal and plant life. If you wish to visit other parts of the country, Casa d'Acha is at a mere 135-minutes' drive from Lisbon's International Airport and a 27-minutes' drive to Castelo Branco's Railway Station.
