Two hours' drive from Porto and 30 kilometers from the Spanish border is our biodynamic farm, Quinta da Portela. With 19 ha of land in the Unesco Serra da Estrela Natural Park and in the valley of the Mondego River. Our quinta offers peace and space and amazingly beautiful views. There are about 700 olive trees on our property, from which top quality biodynamic olive oil is harvested every year. There are also various water mines and water sources with clean and mineral-rich water: our own spring water comes from the tap! In addition to olive trees, there are many different fruit and almond trees, there is an organic vegetable garden, fifty sheep, two horses, six chickens and some dogs and cats live there. Our terraces with vines are located on the warm slope. For our guests there are six different, fully furnished studios with private bathroom. For families there is a private house with two bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub and a large living room with open kitchen.
