‘Quinta do Quinto’ was a farm that for more than 300 years was dedicated exclusively to agricultural production. Milk, wine and olive oil were his main productions. Currently it is still on production of this products, but with less commercial volume. Wanting to create a unique experience and share the place with others, the main houses of the farm were renovated for tourism. ‘Quinta do Quinto’ is located in the glacier valley of Mondego River, in the parish of Cavadoude, that belongs to the Natural Park of ‘Serra da Estrela’. An unlikely location, far from the tourist crowds, in a place you've never heard of. The valley where the farm is located allows the eyes to reach a wide and panoramic landscape. Away from the A25(highway) that will make you feel in the heart of Serra da Estrela, but close enough not to seem unattainable. Only accessible by own transport, or by taxi, you can take advantage of the most notorious neighborhood, the city of Guarda, which is 16km away, and the village of Celorico da Beira, which is 14km away.
