About

“Mr. Rocha’s Store”, in Portuguesa A Loja do Sr. Rocha, was founded in 1976 and started as a typical Lisbon grocery store, used to see the legendary electric 28 passing in front of its door. It is located in one of the noblest areas of the city, between Estrela and the Portuguese Parliament. Given to its location, it is used to be visited not only by the residents of the area but also by political figures. In modern times, it is a modernized space. The grocery store remains but, besides that, it has also a restaurant (where lunches are served every day from Monday to Saturday) and a coffee/pastry space. Tourists have also become part of our daily life by seeing us as a welcoming and pleasant place, and where they can purchase typical Portuguese products. We combine tradition and modernity. So whether it's for lunch, coffee break, breakfast or simply to visit our grocery store, we’re waiting for you!
