Lisbon – Chiado The first A Vida Portuguesa shop opened in June 2007 in the heart of the Chiado neighbourhood. Occupying the centennial and extraordinary space of the old warehouse and perfume factory David & David, we have kept the beautiful cabinets and jars of powder left behind. As well as everything else, proving that it is possible to open new stores while fully preserving historic interiors. Here you will find all our unique everyday products, rescued from the memory of the country; the most beautiful and careful selections of: jewellery, embroidery, ceramics, aluminium, toiletries, stationery, books, toys, plus a wide range of cleaning products, food and drink. In 2009, A Vida Portuguesa was selected as one of the 10 most original shops in town by Time Out Lisbon.
