Inaugurated in 2006, the windsurfing school started operating at São João beach, but currently the school operates at Baía do Seixal, which is 15 km from Lisbon. Seixal Bay is a spectacular windsurfing spot, very good for initiation, improvement and speed enthusiasts, as the water plane is smooth and great for full throttle. The access to the spot is Seixal beach, known as “Ti João Beach” and we can count on the support, in terms of safety, with the Seixal Nautical Association, which has a boat with a sailor permanently in the water from 9am and up to 1 hour before sunset. This spot has the particularity of running all day long, if there is wind, and the low tide period is when the water plane is smoother and where you can reach the highest speeds in the two channels where you can sail during this phase of the tide.
