The space The name «República - Bed & Breakfast & Arts» relates to the background’s lusitanian origin as well as its connection to the arts. Each room represents a burgh gifted with pieces of art which associated with it. Guest access Apart from the rooms’ sheltered compasses, we offer access to a wide and cozy kitchen as well as a living room with a TV and a dining room where breakfast is served. In a matter of necessity, we grant a fridge and microwave at hand. Interaction with guests Our insight on Lisbon on a day to day basis is fuelled by a special zest for the social, gastronomical and cultural nuances. We are more than happy to share it with you having arranged some partnerships that may help provide some unique experiences! The neighborhood The neighbourhood, located in Avenidas Novas, central Lisbon is comprised of long avenues garnished with lovely châteaux scattered throughout mixed with some more modern buildings. It’s the city’s business center counting on a diverse and sophisticated means of commerce. Also, right under our nose, we see the famous Campo Pequeno’s bullring built brick by brick in the 19th century being one of Lisbon’s main show halls and concert venue. Getting around - 5km from the Airport (10 minute drive or 11 by tube) - Tube/metro station: Campo Pequeno - 8 Bus lines: 207, 727, 736, 738, 744, 749, 754 e 783 - Right next to the train station which reaches Sintra - Large paid parking area near the Bullring - Taxi rank at the door Other things to note Scattered throughout the rooms’ walls - relating to a specific neighbourhood of Lisbon - are exposed some art pieces from promising artists associated to the respective neighbourhood.
