Discover Ácala island, as it was known in the days of ancient Rome. A few minutes from Troia’s central area, travel back in time to the ruins of one of the largest settlements occupied until the 6th century, and the largest fish-salting centre known from the Roman World. Wander about ruins of dwellings, tombs and hot and cold baths built of marble. New remains are being discovered every year, which you can see at the archaeological exhibitions, guided visits and thematic events.
