Telecabine Lisboa
About
Telecabine Lisboa is a modern cable‑car system that carries visitors high above Lisbon’s vibrant Parque das Nações. A single‑passenger cabin ascends in a calm and comfortable ride, offering a panoramic sweep of the Tagus River, the city’s skyline and iconic bridges such as Ponte 25 de Abril. The journey takes about 5 minutes, giving travelers a quick yet unforgettable perspective of Lisbon’s heritage and contemporary architecture. The cable‑car is part of the broader revitalisation of Parque das Nações, a former industrial site transformed into a cultural and leisure hub that hosts the Oceanário, the Science Pavilion, the MEO Arena and many exhibitions. Visitors can enjoy art installations, gardens and the delightful waterfront promenade while watching the city’s landmarks appear below. Every ride starts and ends at the North Station, located on Passeio das Tagides. From the cabin’s transparent panels you can observe the famous Vasco da Gama Bridge, the Vasco da Gama Tower, and the swirling crowds of tourists that flock to the park’s attractions during peak season.
