Villa Domingues
About
Villa Domingues was once a factory workers village whose origins date back to the late XVIII century. At this time, with the beginning of the Industrial Revolution and the consequent rural exodus, Lisbon saw this type of construction appearing all over the city, especially for workers in this new sector of activity. The local accommodation has five apartments, four of which are in the main building and a house at the end of the Villa, the access for all of the apartments is from a common courtyard. Each apartment has its own private patio with a small tank. In the surroundings, there are several restaurants, shops, bars, gardens and museums. There is also a wide variety of public transport available with the subway station 100 meters away as well as buses and trams.
