About

The Mora Freshwater Aquarium is a public aquarium dedicated to freshwater ecosystems, privileging the knowledge of their diversity, importance and relation with humanity. The Aquarium was inaugurated at the 21st March of 2007 and along your visit to the exhibits you will know some of the freshwater species of Portugal from the stream to the mouth of a river, others that occur in the Iberian Peninsula, and also from the hydrographic basin of the Amazon river and large African lakes of the Rift Valley.
