Casa dos Arrábidos
About
Casa dos Arrábidos originated as a former convent of Franciscan Arrábidos friars who settled here in the mid-16th century, building a convent, a chapel and a walled "fence", some outbuildings, as well as a vegetable garden and an orchard that served the convent. This property subsequently had several owners, until in 2004, the current owners transformed it into a Rural Tourism unit, giving it the name of Casa dos Arrábidos. Today, our guests can enjoy a lounge with arches opening onto the garden, with a fireplace, television and snooker where we organise our events, 5 double rooms with a traditional and cosy atmosphere, private bathrooms and central heating, a garden, swimming pool and olive grove, which are available on an exclusive basis. The exterior, perfectly integrated with the house, has the simplicity that characterises the spirit of the place and at the same time a flavour that invites you to rest and communion with nature.
