Founded in 1904, Louvre Michaelense first opened its doors as a high-end hats & fabric shop directly imported from Paris. After a careful recovery of form and enhancing its charm and personality, Louvre reopened in 2015 as a grocery store. The shelves now display the best of Azorean and Portuguese Craft, selected with love and intention. In 2020 Louvre Michaelense reembraces its roots and evolves into Bar and Bistro, where regional ingredients are showcased in Cocktails and Cuisine with an accent of French flair.
