The Quinta das Barradas is located in the Western Algarve, only a few kilometres from Lagos. A beautiful, charming country house and family farm surrounded by amazing fauna and flora, with the majestic Monchique hills and the poetic River Alvor as backdrop. Colourful flowers, old willows, swaying trees and palms create the perfect ambience for a swim in our biological pool, which is completely natural containing just pure water with no chloride or other artificial products. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity under the cool shade of the trees. Here, the emphasis is on nature, relaxation and peace of mind for the grown-ups whilst the children can enjoy activities and natural educational experiences under the qualified supervision of our resident Nanny. Activities and facilities include all-day childcare, an animal petting farm, herb garden, nature trails, biological pool, games room, pottery workshops, plus a wigwam and much more. The Quinta is the perfect place for children and families. Here, you will completely unwind and relax both body and soul in the unique atmosphere and comfortable laid back surroundings of the Quinta das Barradas - a place where you are welcomed not as guests, but friends.
