When we created Bartolomeu, we were dreaming of far and exotic lands and adventures – just as the great Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias did in the 15th century. At the same time, we wanted to pay tribute to this traveler's homeland and the source of his inspiration, connecting the global with the local. The result is Bartolomeu Bistro & Wine, an intimate and elegant yet relaxed place in an ancient palace in a prime location of Porto. The perfect spot to let yourself be whisked away from reality and embark on your own exotic journey in an ambience reminiscent of the African jungle.
