The Restaurant "O Valentim" is located in the heart of the fishing activity of Matosinhos and, as it could not fail to be, it’s specialty is serving the freshest grilled fish. With the fishing port located across the street, every day the restaurant receives several species of fresh fish that our professionals brilliantly prepare, highlighting among the most wanted species: seabass, brill, gilthead, sardine and squid. To begin the meals, we have great starters, among them, the fish soup, the traditional Portuguese soup “Caldo Verde”, the clams, the shrimps and the petinga. To finish the meals in beauty, we offer a wide range of desserts made by us, among them, crème brûlée, pudding, passion fruit pie and brigadeiro. Concerning wines, we count with a quality selection where the best wines of our country are present.
