A new way to visit the Douro and the riverside area of Porto and Gaia.We intend to present to all who visit us, the World Heritage downtown, inviting them to experience its most pure, more environmentally friendly. Feel the river and its banks, without the engine noise of a boat, and without the hermeticism of a passenger bus with its air conditioned and sound.To do that, we propose a calm and relaxed bicycle ride, from the Atlantic Ocean on the south bank of the Douro, passing through the lower deck of the bridge "Ponte D. Luiz I" to the Marina do Freixo, on the north bank of the Douro.Then, after completion of all preparations, we began the descent of the Douro River from the Marina do Freixo, to Afurada on Kayak. Whether a couple, a group of friends, or a lone tourist, this is an experience open and available for all ages, and without requiring the physical capacity of a professional rower.This way we can hear the river running, we can smell the river and sea brought by the current, we can either feel the balance between calm as the river passes the upstream, and the agitation of the shores of Oporto and Vila Nova de Gaia, feel the sea enjoying the work of the fishermen in the area of Afurada, and we stop to admire any of the magnificent bridges that cross the two sides. All this at the rhythm of the will of each one.The kayaks are extremely safe and stable, perfectly adapted to all conditions that can present the Douro River. Indeed security is something that our company puts most of all, and as such all participants will equipped with a buoyancy vest with capacity far above the minimum safety standards required.Come feel the Oporto from a different perspective!
