Tasca Estacao

Originally called Barreiros, it was an infrastructure of the Guimarães Line that served the locality and municipality of Maia, in the Porto district, in Portugal. The Estação concept was born from the desire to recover the old disused train station in Maia and open a distinguished restaurant in the same place, where its original features would be kept. A place where the people of the city could once again remember the history of that space. The station dates back to 1932 and has been deactivated since 2001. The space's new identity recalls the atmosphere experienced in the old station, from objects to furniture. At the end of 2020, a fire broke out in the place and despite the dismay, the desire to rebuild the space and expand the brand throughout the city spoke louder. Today, Estação 1932 is a Group and a Brand that has the Restaurant, Tasca os Vinhos e Produtos very Portuguese. In the future we will continue to travel along these endless lines.
