Tavi Confeitaria
About
Tavi Confeitaria, located in Porto’s historic Foz neighbourhood on Rua Senhora da Luz, has been a favourite since 1935. In 2006 the family of José Paiva revamped the space, creating a modern lounge terrace that offers sweeping views of the Atlantic and the Douro River, while preserving its renowned pastry tradition. The menu blends classic Portuguese treats such as pastel de nata and bolo Rei with contemporary pastries, light meals, a variety of breads, pizzas, and skilfully crafted drinks. Visitors can enjoy breakfast, an indulgent brunch (up to 4 pm), or savoury tapas and cocktails on the terrace, while a selection of salads, smoothies, wines and craft beers keeps the experience fresh and inclusive. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee, a leisurely lunch, or a relaxed evening by the sea, Tavi’s warm atmosphere and inviting culinary offerings make it a must‑see destination in Porto.
