About

JOYME Hotel started from the passion of combining the military history of Sibiu with new and modern accents, but also from the pleasure of offering positive experiences to the people who cross our threshold. Between 1873-1876, during the time of mayor Wilhelm Edler von Hochmeister and emperor Franz Josef I, the building was built for the Austro-Hungarian army. Our hotel is located in the former pavilion A, which used to be the artillery barrack. The building has been carefully restored to preserve the architecture of yesteryears but also to provide a unique experience to our customers and an inside view of how times used to be 150 years ago.
