The Throne is an boutique hotel located in an historic building dating back to the XVIth century within the inhabited Sighisoara Medieval Citadel, which is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. As you enter the hotel lobby you are welcomed in a medieval- style wine cellar, which is an attraction in itself due to its rustic setting and the 100-year-old church bell clock. The building maintains its historic structure, including 700 years old stone walls, wooden elements and a custom made wooden staircase. All rooms offer an unique historic ambience, where you will be surrounded only by pieces of antique furniture restored by a local carpenter with antique collectibles and stylish bathrooms with free toiletries. Each room is equipped with modern facilities and air- conditioning and flat screen cable TV and free WIFI.
