This is the Gypsy House Hostel. Hostel accommodations with Roma. Stay with us includes room - meals (breakfast + dinner) and the Roma (Gypsies). Our community development - cultural exchange program allows outsiders - inside the status quo segregated Roma communities and experience the real life: good - bad - ugly and "shukar" (beautiful). Our project is a healthy balance between educating people about Roma culture (our on site Roma Learning Center) while benefiting Roma people by bringing new incomes into the communities....We also offer numerous "things to do" including visiting other Roma/Gypsy communities including the music and dance- basketmakers and so much more... The HOSTEL We have a very humble hostel. Clean - neat - 2 shared rooms - decorated in flamboyant Gabor style Our project 2 rooms. Striving towards affordability - and reaching all classes: business owners - to students. Pay at site only 45 lei (10 euro) per person - per night. Bathroom facilities - village. Full bath - washing available but not conventional modern showers. Bathing facilities: old fashion style. Toilet: outhouse: regularly clean and neat yet it is what it is... We try and compensate our simplicities by offering: meals and Roma. Rare and unique experience. Contact us with ANY questions
