The Scotland Yard
About
The Scotland Yard and The Pig’s Tale... We wanted a place where you can eat a lot and eat well, time and again. We’ve picked our recipes from Swabians, Saxons (Spätzle über Alles!) and from near and far. The bread and ham (prosciutto from Banat) are local, and the gherkins are sour to rouse you from any carousal. On the wall, we’ve hung a huge wild boar head to keep you in check... We’re kidding, although, our butcher is quite a sharp guy. All in all, you get what we’re all about and what the deal with The Scotland Yard is: we’re downright honest and as soft as the onions in our refried beans; we don’t cook like your mum used to (she’s no expert, after all), but we do pile your plate with large collar joints, loin steaks and chops to fill your chops. Excuse the pun! P.s.: vegetarians, vegans, raw-vegans, Lacto-Ovo-Pesco-vegetarians, and all other NGOs with broccoli-driven politics should cross themselves when passing us by; we might just have a beef with you! ;).
