"Varos kapija", one of the Belgrade restaurants with long tradition, dates back to 1920. Throughout turbulent historical epochs, the restaurant has preserved its distinctive identity, based on excellent home cooking. The restaurant is located in the part of the city of the same name, just a few minutes away from pedestrian zone of Knez Mihailova Street. In the middle of the 19th century, the first Serbian taverns were opened here in Belgrade, in which people gathered and could relax with a cup of a good drinks. We know the local specialties that accompany it an exceptionally rich wine list, as well as traditional hospitality. A wide selection of breakfast and daily meals at affordable prices are awaiting you. The restaurant extends into two level, with a total of 55 seats.
