Old Town is a great choice for travellers interested in walking, exploring history and trying out different types of cusine. The hostel is based in historical building from the 19 century. It belonged to the property of the Earl Erdody and until now it has his name. Earl Erdody had more properties and palaces. Erdody palace is about 300 meters far away from this building on Venturska street. Erdody family is the oldest living family of Hungary. According to the Carta from 25.11.1511, king Vladislav II gave the family the title Earl before the reign of Habsburg family.
