Villa Rosa is THE BEST RESTAURANT IN SLOVAKIA (Gurman Award). The Pension is located in city Dunajska Streda, in the heart of Rye Island. Rooms are furnished in romantic country style and here the guests - if only for a few days - can feel truly special. Our cuisine is seasonal and local. In the restaurant of Villa Rosa guests can get acquainted with the eating culture of the Slow Food movement, deeply rooted in local gastronomic traditions. Meals are prepared exclusively from local produce delivered directly from our own farms. Game (roe and wild boar meat) is provided by Rye Island hunters, fishermen supply fresh fish. Our orchards and vegetable gardens are cultivated and harvested in Varkony, mangalitza pigs are bred in Bogello. Pastry and pasta are all prepared and baked fresh on site.
