Artforum in Košice was founded on 28 October 1994 on the anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia. The initiator was the owner of Bratislava Artforum. The philosopher Erazim Kohák said that such a selection of philosophical literature cannot be found in one place or in Prague. Artforum Košice continues to regularly organize author readings, concerts, book presentations and the children's book festival Punktík.
