About
This is the only example of a preserved medieval almshouse in Slovenia dating from the 15th century. The building was thoroughly renovated in the first half of the 19th century and it served as the town hospital for a half a century. A stone with the year 1726 carved in is seen on the exterior, representing a niche through which the citizens donated their alms for the patients.
