About
Aura Distillery, located in Buzet, Croatia, is a family‑owned heritage brand renowned for its traditional Istrian brandies, liqueurs, gins, and homemade jams. The distillery – a rustic 600 m² cellar – offers visitors an immersive experience where they can see every step of the production process, from fruit fermentation and distillation to maceration, aging and bottling. Beyond the production area, the site hosts a small museum – the Museum of Hum Aura – showcasing the history of the region and the town of Hum, the world’s smallest town. The distillery’s range includes award‑winning products such as Teranino, Karbun gin and the unique Bisk‑extra, all made from wild herbs and fruits with no artificial additives. With a tradition of “picked by hand, prepared with love,” Aura invites travelers to taste, learn and shop its high‑quality spirits and delicacies.
