It all started in 2009 when Gašper Čarman, twice awarded Slovenian Best Sommelier (2013, 2015), opened Evino Bar—a wine bar with the largest selection of top-quality Slovenian and foreign wines in Ljubljana. In 2017, the bar was renovated and expanded, introducing a refined culinary offer based on local ingredients. Today, Evino Bar boasts over 150 wine brands and 900 wines by the glass, offering an unmatched experience for wine lovers. Just a few steps away, the Evino Wine Shop lets you buy the very wine you just enjoyed at the bar. Evino Bar is perfect for business meetings, private gatherings, and wine tastings. In 2019, our wine list was honored with the Best of Excellence Award from Wine Spectator (two glasses)—the first in Slovenia to achieve this.
