Vila Zlatica

The former home of the legendary Slovene mayor, Ivan Hribar, who is most renowned for his reconstruction and modernization of Ljubljana after the great earthquake of 1895. The villa features many priceless historic artifacts that are personal belongings of Ivan Hribar and his family. The main exhibition, "Ivan Hribar and the Ljubljana Bourgeoisie," tells the exciting story of Ljubljana at the beginning of the 20th century. Visits for individuals are available on Fridays from 15:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 14:00 to 18:00. Interested groups may book tours outside of these hours.
