The parish's three-storey vaulted wine cellar is an exceptional feature and experience. Its origins go far back in time. The parish of St Peter near Maribor in Malečnik is ancient. The church is mentioned as early as 1236, and the parish is recorded in 1338. At that time, the cellar, which is located under the parish house, must have stood. The parish cellar offers many opportunities for culinary and wine experiences, cultural events and various events.
