The IVAM CADA ALCOI is a multi-functional space dedicated to the arts and contemporary culture, managed by the City Council of Alcoi under agreement with the Fundación Mediterráneo and the Valencian Regional Government represented by IVAM (the Valencian Institute of Modern Art). On its three floors, the centre hosts relevant programs of often remarkable contemporary art exhibitions selected and curated by the Fundación Mediterráneo and IVAM. The building is also the venue of exciting projects that promote cultural players and creators from Alcoi, disseminating their work inside their area of influence. he ground floor houses the 450 m2 exhibition hall of the Fundación Mediterráneo. During the renovation the former boardroom was preserved, along with a few historical items and a small exhibition of documents from different stages of the institution’s history.
