La Serrezuela Restaurante
About
The restaurant 'La Serrezuela' in Montejo de la Vega de la Serrezuela is the hidden gem of the location, which boasts of being the entrance to the Hoces del Río Riaza natural park. Dining room located on the upper floor, wooden beams, stone, cozy lighting and minimal touches of modernity enlivened by a very personal soundtrack at its right volume. There is no menu: two starters, two main and one dessert surmounting to five courses. Each and every element that enters the kitchen has providence - a story to tell: the herbs come from the garden, the veg from the ecological allotment, the foie of Sorian ducks reared as artisanal as you could wish and the mutton from the pastures of the shire. Depending on the season, foraged mushrooms or sustainably culled wild boar could feature. They manage what the land gives and they know the gastronomic customs and traditions of the area, without being constrained by them. They play with the local produce and what the season will provide.
