The Hospederia Guts Muths Hospederia Guts Muths is a restored mule driver's mansion from 1752 located in Santiago Millas, in the Maragateria Region. Santiago Millas is seen as the main village in La Maragateria in the northwest of spain in the provence of Leon. Because of the strategic location, 300 km from the coast and 300 km from Madrid, the village was in the 18th and 19th century an important logistic centre in the northwest of spain. This is still vissible in the structure of the village and the typical buildings. In 1998 the goverment of Castilla - Leon, declared the village as an Historic Artistic Monument. The last decennia the village developed as an rural toeristic area where people can enjoy the natural beauty, the hills, the mountains and the many cultural villages.
