About
Built amongst holm and cork oak pastures, washed by the largest reservoir in Western Europe, is Olivenza, a Spanish town with a Portuguese soul, whose history has turned it into a cultural reference in the border. This privileged, fortified town was erected under Portuguese sovereignty, filled with white houses, arcades, some Manueline touches and paved sidewalks. It’s one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain since 2019.
