Located in Gràcia district, Cines Verdi have been different movie theatres for more than 30 years. Why are they different? Besides their privileged neighborhood, Cines Verdi offer a nine-screen cinema where there is always a good choice of quality films in original language with subtitles. You can find in Cines Verdi a varied range of alternative films, from reruns of “The Quiet Man” (1952, John Ford) to the Oscar winner “The great beauty” (2013, Paolo Sorrentino). They offer a cinematographic experience focused on quality and diversity. On the other hand, they have their own initiatives such as Verdi French Film Sessions, in which they screen French films which have not made their way to Spain, or Verdi Kids, with a range of animation films specially designed for young children.
