If you want to stay in the centre of Eixample, Barcelona just off the Passage de Gracia, please think about staying at The Housefamily B&B. It is an 1890's refurbished modernist apartment, with traditional tiled floors, high ceilings and balconies and has a really relaxed and friendly feel. You have your own key so can come and go as if it was your own flat, and can mix with the other guests in the lounge or around the breakfast table in the morning. Montserrat, the English speaking owner, is a really friendly, genuinely nice person and very helpful with info and ideas of places to go in the city.
