About

An aqueduct built by the Royal Monastery of Sant Cugat in the 14th C to channel water from the Mina de los Monjes to the monastic enclosure. It formed part of the water supply system to the Monastery and the lower quarters of the ancient town of Sant Cugat. Archaeological excavations carried out in 2001 in Octavià square revealed the channels that make up the last sections of the system.
