Standing at 144.44 m (473 ft) tall, Torre Glòries sits proudly on Av. Diagonal in Barcelona’s Poblenou district. Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel in collaboration with Spanish firm Fermín Vázquez, the tower’s conical shape and glass façade echo the volcanic silhouettes of Montserrat and the Sagrada Família’s bell towers, making it one of the city’s most instantly recognisable landmarks. But it’s not just its silhouette that captivates; the tower’s façade hosts over 4,500 LED lights that choreograph ever‑changing displays, turning the building into a dynamic canvas of colour and light.
