Discover the most typical streets, which show a clear Arabic influence, inside the town walls –whose four original entry doors are preserved at present. Enjoying a pleasant walk, we will visit the main monuments of the old town of Vejer: the Castle, and the manor houses ‘Palacio del Marques de Tamaron’ and ‘Casa del Mayorazgo’. Optionally, the tour may include the visit to the Convent of Monjas Concepcionistas – current venue of the Museo Municipal de Tradiciones y Costumbres de Vejer (Municipal Museum of Vejer Customs and Traditions) -, and the Parish Church of El Divino Salvador. This tour starts at Parque Los Remedios (close to the Tourist Information Office). Daily tours during peak season.
