Hotel Fragile is set in the heritage building in the heart of the antique centre of Ciutadella, reformed with modern and minimalistic approach. All rooms at our hotel are different in design, exposing historic features and contrasting them with contemporary furnishing. The walls of rooms are embellished with works of art by international contemporary artists. There is a bluetooth sound system in each room and a smart television with Netflix. We sourced organic and hand-made pillows, mattresses, bath and bed linen from Coco-Mat, a company widely respected for its quality and care for nature. There is a beautiful internal courtyard where you can enjoy a breakfast in the morning and at night we are offering a selection of small contemporary dishes, using local and organic produce. We have a wide selection of local, international and award-winning gins too. Our hotel is just a stone-throw from the most iconic landmark, Cathedral of Menorca. Local market, popular for its flair and lively atmosphere, is just a 5 min walk from our doorstep, where you will also find bars and restaurants. There is plenty of shops and boutiques in this area too, offering wide variety of products from local craftmen; from typical Menorcean sandals and other leather goods, to jewellery, pottery and art. Local beach can be reached within a 10 minutes walk and we highly recommend it for an early morning swim, if this is your thing. There is plenty of other beaches in a close proximity of Ciutadella, reachable within 15 minutes by the public or private transport. Some of them cater for those in search of an active holiday, offering equipment for diving, peddle surfing and other activities, while other provide more peace and tranquility. Some of the most important prehistoric sites on the island are in a close proximity of Ciutadella too, like for example Necropolis of Cala Morel and Naveta d'es Tudons which, for its beauty and good state of conservation, has became the most widely visited prehistoric monument on the island. If you are coming in Spring or Autumn, there is path huging the entire coast of Menorca, reachable by foot, bike or a horse, offering stunning views of the island.
