About
The Roman Bridge of Córdoba, originally built in the 1st century AD, stands as a pivotal monument in the city’s historic centre. Its 16 graceful arches combine Roman foundations with 8th‑century Moorish arches, and a 16th‑century statue of St. Raphael graces the centre of the bridge. Restored in 2004 and again in 2008, the fully pedestrianised bridge now offers a safe and scenic walk that blends architectural heritage with the soothing backdrop of the Guadalquivir River.
