Playa de Es Canar
About
Es Caná beach is a golden crescent stretch that welcomes visitors with a gentle, horseshoe‑shaped shoreline ideal for families and leisure seekers. Nestled in the heart of the Es Caná resort, it offers a 300‑metre long, 25‑30‑metre wide expanse of fine sand that gradually slopes into crystal‑clear waters, making it perfect for children and novice swimmers. The beach is well‑maintained and offers a full range of facilities: loungers, sunbeds, parasols, loading showers (currently water‑conserving), public toilets – including an accessible toilet and a disabled access platform – as well as a small tourist office. Nearby, the modest harbour provides jet‑tying for fishing boats and the launch point for a variety of water‑sport rentals and boat trips. Activities abound: paddle surf, kayaking, parasailing, and fishing are all easily arranged from the harbour, while evening entertainment is centered around a fun fair with merry‑go‑rounds, trampolines, and bumper cars for younger guests. The relaxed atmosphere, devoid of loud music, makes it an ideal spot for a peaceful day out or a romantic sunset walk. With free public parking along the road, a free car park, and small ferries to Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Town and even Formentera, Es Caná invites travelers of all ages to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Ibiza coastline.
