Founded in 2008 by British expats Sue and Rod Weeding, our non-profit rescue centre saves neglected, abused and abandoned horses, ponies and donkeys across the Alicante region of Spain. We are open to the public every day from 12 pm to 2 pm (booking required), for a tour in our stables and fields, home to 120 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys. Hear the incredible survival stories of some of our most famous horses – including beautiful Bronson, who survived being beaten with a hammer and Luceiro, who lost an eye but remains one of our most majestic and spirited horses.
