Orquidario de Estepona
About
Orchidarium Estepona, located in the historic centre of Estepona, is Spain’s largest orchid garden with over 3,000 plant species, including 1,500 orchids from around the world. The three‑level complex is meticulously curated into distinct microclimates, ranging from towering trees to a unique mini orchid garden where even the smallest blooms can be examined up close. The indoor rainforest ambience, crystal domes that glow at night, and the free admission for children under six make it a perfect stop for families and botanical enthusiasts alike. Around 125 orchid species are in bloom daily, offering a living, ever‑changing display of colour and fragrance. Best season: May through September, when the garden is in full bloom and the temperatures are ideal for visitors.
