The Xuvia Industrial Mills Interpretation Center (CIMIX) is a modern museum space in Narón showcasing the old flour mills built by the Frenchman Juan Lestache in 1775. Guided tours, family workshops, and activities are held throughout the year. CIMIX has a variety of resources such as audiovisuals, tactile and interactive elements, games, and models. Throughout its rooms, we can see a complete restoration of the mill machinery, learn about the evolution of milling techniques over time through models, learn about a workday in an 18th-century mill, and get closer to the life of Lestache, the entrepreneur who created a true industrial and commercial emporium, whose network of exchanges extended throughout Europe and America.
